The ChallengeAdobe is looking for an Account Director who is responsible for achieving sales targets through the sale of Adobe’s Digital Marketing product lines. As part of our enterprise sales team, you will work with Adobe’s largest customers across the FSI industry. Your role includes building long‑term relationships, crafting strategic account plans, and driving revenue growth. You will engage directly with customers, guide them through successful Adobe adoption, and help expand the value realized from our solutions.
Whatyou’ll do
- Approach the business strategically and set a multi‑year north star vision and strategy based on value.
- Proactively identify and achieve a path to sales plan.
- Be an innovative and resilient problem solver, taking the lead on ambitious, sophisticated problems.
- Communicate effectively and persuasively with customers to uncover solutions aligned with their perspective.
- Build strong executive relationships across multiple fields (CIO, CTO, CMO, CDO).
- Identify and gain alignment from customers on compelling business issues to be addressed.
- Demonstrate industry expertise, thought leadership, and a grasp of the macro‑economic environment.
- Articulate Adobe’s unique value proposition and how our solutions align with customer vision.
- Lead, collaborate and orchestrate Adobe’s ecosystem and partners to drive outcomes.
- Collaborate to drive consensus and action as owner and driver of the territory and account strategy.
- Manage large, sophisticated sales processes involving legal, deal desk, product marketing, product support & engineering, and other Adobe stakeholders.
- Lead collaboration with external third parties, including tech partners and system integrators.
- Meet sales quota and run an efficient business.
- Advance and close sales opportunities through successful execution of the sales strategy and roadmap.
- Build strong account plans at the beginning of the year and lead regular account planning meetings.
- Maintain a rolling 4‑quarter pipeline, quickly qualifying opportunities and collaborating with support organizations to funnel pipeline into accounts.
- Minimum 5–7+ years with a consistent track record selling solutions to Marketing, IT, and brands or lines of business in large enterprise organizations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, partnering with other Adobe teams including Sales, Support, Engineering, Product & Marketing.
- Strong understanding of digital experience technologies and SaaS within the FSI space.
- Validated Sales Excellence and a creative, problem‑solving approach.
Our compensation reflects labor market variations across U.S. geographic markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $229,000 – $369,600 annually. Compensation is expressed as total target compensation (TTC) for sales roles and base salary plus incentives for non‑sales roles. Certain roles may be eligible for long‑term incentives.
