Requirements

• Knowledge and Skill Requirements
• Proven experience as welder.
• Experience using MIG welding equipment and procedures.
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves, safety glasses etc.).
• Deftness and attention to detail.
• Proficient in English.
• Professional Certification (e.g. an AWS welding certificate) will be a plus.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week. Hours are Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm. Occasional Friday, evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
