Providence Catholic is hiring a full-time School Social Worker in our Counseling Department to begin August 6, 2026.

• Serve as a role model and witness to our faith community
• Embrace the Augustinian Values of Truth, Unity, and Love
• Develop and coordinate programs for students and parents addressing student mental health, along with student behavior and concerns
• Develop and facilitate groups based on the assessed need of the students
• Provide staff information on factors affecting student performance and behavior
• Develop staff in-service training
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling
• Participate in special needs assessments and educational planning meetings
• Provide crisis intervention and work as part of emergency planning team
• Assist in conflict resolution and anger management
• Assist parents in accessing community resources

• Master's Degree (Required)
• School Social Work Experience (Preferred)

• DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate
• Diocese of Joliet Protecting God's Children
• Diocese of Joliet Fingerprinting & Background Check
• Work Physical/Statement of Health from Physician

$44,761-$47,763 (Lane 3/Year 1 – Lane 5/Year
1);
