Civil PM

$140-$175K New London, CT Full-Time On-Site

Spoke with the hiring manager for this role yesterday, and this shop is urgently hiring for a PM with a strong background in DOT and/or Bridge construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of marine construction projects including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and field crews to ensure seamless project execution
  • Oversee construction of marine structures such as piers, bulkheads, jetties, and cofferdams
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and resolve issues
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders and senior leadership

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in marine or heavy civil construction project management
  • Proven track record managing waterfront infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of marine equipment, construction methods, and environmental permitting
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., HCSS Heavy Job, Primavera, Smart build)
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
