Railroad Construction Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced and driven Superintendent to lead field operations across the New England region. Responsibilities
  • Enforce company and OSHA safety policies and develop site-specific HASPs.
  • Lead field operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with project teams on schedules, work plans, and resource needs.
  • Coordinate and supervise crews, forepersons, and daily activities.
  • Communicate with owners, agencies, inspectors, and union representatives.
  • Manage materials, equipment, and labor to meet project goals.i>
  • Monitor production, costs, and progress to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Attend project meetings and provide technical guidance.
  • Support training and development of field personnel.
Requirements

To be considered, preferred applicants should present the following:

  • Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
  • 5+ years supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of MPT/WZTC standards and CTDOT, MASSDOT, MBTA or AMTRAK specs.
  • Able to read blueprints, track costs, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
  • 7+ years of heavy civil experience (bridges, foundations, structures).
  • Proficient in concrete formwork, sheeting, piling, shoring, and utilities.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Willing to travel within the New England region.
