Body Shop Clerk

Secor Auto Group is seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Body Shop Clerk to join our team in New London, CT. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a body shop office and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while assisting customers, insurance companies, technicians, and management.

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, professional, and able to manage multiple priorities throughout the day.

• Answer a high volume of incoming calls using a multi-line phone system.
• Schedule and coordinate customer appointments.
• Receive parts deliveries and process/request payment as needed.
• Communicate with customers and insurance companies regarding repairs and billing.
• Make follow-up calls to customers and insurance companies.
• Process customer invoices and bills.
• Add sublet work, parts, and other charges to customer invoices.
• Collect payments from insurance companies and customers.
• Complete and process Direction of Pay forms.
• Assist with day-to-day administrative functions of the Body Shop office.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service throughout the repair process.

• Previous experience working in a body shop office preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle a high volume of phone calls and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Professional and customer-service-oriented attitude.

• Dealer track DMS experience.
• Microsoft Outlook experience.
• CCC1 knowledge.
• Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraiser License.
