PRIMARY FUNCTION: To ensure that every child assigned to caseload be provided with an ongoing educational program as directed.
TYPICALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ascertain the educational needs and the physical and learning capabilities of assigned students.
- Implement an instructional program for each assigned student.
- Meet with each assigned student on a regularly scheduled basis to provide instruction.
- Keep, maintain, and file such reports and records as the Office of Special Services may require, including time sheets and student progress.
- Assume responsibility for obtaining appropriate textbooks and other teaching materials.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to provide appropriate instruction to assigned students
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English and Spanish, English and Haitian Creole, English and French, English and Portuguese)
SALARY
:
Non-certified $27.82 / Certified $40.00/hour
