Position Overview: To teach College and Career Readiness class to adult students
Typical
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in the Student Leadership Council
- Create projects designed to enhance lectures.
- Integrate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans.
- Work with program lead to ensure initiatives are being met.
- Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
- Observe and evaluate student's performance.
- Manage student behavior in the classroom.
- As set by the State certification requirements for the teaching area:
- Non-Credit Mandate Program (107)
- 1-2 years of experience teaching adults
- Prior experiences working in an environment with adult learners
Preferred Requirements:
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Haitian Creole highly desirable.
