Position Overview:To teach adult education to adults with special needs.

• Create projects designed to enhance lectures.
• Integrate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans.
• ork with program lead to ensure initiatives are being met.
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
• Observe and evaluate student's performance.

Manage student behavior in the classroom.

• As set by the State certification requirements for the teaching area: o Comprehensive Special Education grades 1 – 12 (265) AND o Non-Credit Mandate Program (107)
• 1-2 years of experience teaching adults
• Prior experiences working in an environment with adult learners

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Haitian Creole highly desirable.
