Position OverviewTo plan and deliver effective intervention instruction toassigned students.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities- Toplan and deliver small group intervention instruction to assigned students.
- Ability to progress monitor and adjust instruction as needed, based on student data.
- Ability to match appropriate instructional materials and strategies based on student need as determined through data analysis.
- Ability to create and maintain accurate data on student progress.
- Learn and successfully implement various intervention programs.
- Performs such otherinstructionalduties as assigned by the principal or designee
- Minimum of aBachelor's Degree.
- Direct experience working with children.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Haitian Creole highly desirable.
- Self-motivated; ability to work independently and collaboratively, ability to bring new ideas to the team.
- Flexibility and patience in helping students build their academic success.
- Excellent collaboration, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
