Atlas is a rapidly expanding company supporting the U.S. Military and other Government entities and we are seeking a passionate, flexible, and highly motivated team player to join our group of Technology professionals.
We are looking for a talented “Submarine Electronic Warfare (EW) AN/BLQ-10 Engineering Technician”. This is a fulltime position working out of Groton, CT
.
The Electronic Warfare Engineering Technician will provide onsite installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of ISIS in accordance with DoD and U.S. Navy Maintenance Procedures, and Cyber System instructions.
Pay Range: $77,022.40 to $93,000.00, depending on experience and credentials.
Travel: up to 10%
Responsibilities- Install, monitor, and service equipment and systems at Company and client sites
- Perform or coordinate test and evaluation, checkout, and certification tasks of AN/BLQ-10 systems
- Perform validations/verifications of various electronic systems related to the operation of the BLQ-10 system
- Develop technical/engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS), Technical manuals, troubleshooting procedures, drawing updates, operation procedures, and maintainability improvements
- Implement Engineering Change Instructions (ECI)
- Train others in the operation and performance of the system(s)
- Direct on-site customer interface for equipment/system installation, testing, survey, fabrication, and other engineering tasks as needed
- Ensure compliance with engineering documentation standards, engineering plans, system specifications and test procedures
- U.S. Citizenship
- Possession of and the ability to maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance
- Vocational/technical training beyond high school and at least 10 years of job‑related experience or equivalent.
- Experience investigating, troubleshooting, and designing solutions to problems in operational hardware and software.
- HS Diploma
- Technical (Military/Trade) school/training beyond high school and at least 10 years of job‑related experience or equivalent
- VA Class experience
- AN/BLQ-10 EW System Experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top‑Secret US Government Clearance
