You will serve as a Supervisory Contract Specialist in the Contracting Department of NAVSUP FLC NORVA GF.

You will serve as a Supervisory Contract Specialist in the Contracting Department of NAVSUP FLC NORVA GF.

Requirements Qualifications

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying a mastery knowledge of contracting advisory services to ensure regulations and requirements are met and must include all of the following:1) utilizing knowledge of Federal, DOD and DON contracting laws, regulations, principles and procedures, contracts and provisions to provide guidance and leadership Contract Specialist and other subordinate personnel;2) utilizing knowledge of methods of contracting applicable to the acquisition of supplies, personal, and non-personal services to develop acquisition solutions;3) managing multiple contracting projects to ensure Program goals and objectives are met;4) analyzing existing policies and procedure to develop and implement improvements;5) communicating orally and in writing to collaborate across organizations to reach concurrence on processes, projects, and desired outcomes.
