We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support within a fast-paced environment. This role supports daily IT operations and technology deployment initiatives while delivering exceptional customer service to end users.
The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-focused, and eager to learn. This position requires providing high-touch technical support to healthcare professionals, administrative staff, and business users while troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues both onsite and remotely.
Key Responsibilities- Provide desktop support for end users in a healthcare environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Windows operating system issues, application problems, and hardware failures.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access requests through Active Directory.
- Support desktops, laptops, thin clients, workstations, and multifunction printers.
- Respond to support requests in person, via phone, email, and remote support tools.
- Diagnose and resolve basic network connectivity issues, including IP conflicts and network drive mapping.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain new hardware and technology equipment.
- Assist with computer builds, deployments, upgrades, refreshes, and cleanup projects.
- Troubleshoot printer issues and peripheral device connectivity.
- Work with patch panels and assist in resolving network-related incidents.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and support activities accurately within the ticketing system.
- Perform routine rounding and provide proactive support to end users.
- Travel between local sites as needed to support business requirements.
- 1+ years of desktop support, IT support, or help desk experience.
- Strong experience supporting Windows environments.
- Experience managing user accounts and permissions in Active Directory.
- Knowledge of PC hardware, desktop support, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience troubleshooting:

- Ability to provide both onsite and remote technical support.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- Knowledge of basic networking concepts and patch panel troubleshooting.
- Previous experience supporting executives, clinicians, or other high-touch user groups.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
