We are hiring for School-Based Health Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner positions!
We are looking for candidates interested in part-time or full-time positions to provide medical services to children in our School Based Health Centers in New London, Stonington, and Ledyard. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Child and Family Agency of Southeastern CT (CFA) was founded in 1972 to support and nurture our community’s most vulnerable children and families. We are dedicated to providing compassionate care to our service area.
CFA is seeking part-time or full-time Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioners to join a team of nurse practitioners who are passionate about providing high-quality medical care focused on preventative services and health education of students, families, schools, and communities. The selected individuals will be working on-site in a school-based health center collaboratively with a mental health clinician to provide a holistic approach to care.
Qualifications:
Graduation from accredited school of nursing;
Current APRN license as a PNP or FNP to work in Connecticut; CT RN license required;
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree required. DNP clinical doctoral degree preferred. National certification required. Applicants must be able to perform tasks independently with minimal direct supervision. Position also requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
