About This Role
The Emergency Room RN provides excellent clinical care and customer service as part of the healthcare team. This role is ideal for nurses who are dedicated to patient-centered care and are capable of assessing and managing individual patient needs.

Full-Time, Day Shift
- Assess patients' physical and psychosocial conditions continuously.
- Develop, communicate, and document individualized care plans.
- Implement and coordinate care plans with the healthcare team.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and revise as necessary.
- Plan and provide education based on patient and family needs.
- Function as a psychiatric emergency nurse as assigned.
- Serve as a triage nurse and charge nurse as needed.
- Act as a preceptor to new staff as assigned.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
Experience: Previous ED experience preferred.
Licenses &
Certifications:
- Valid State of Connecticut Registered Nurse license.
- Current BLS required upon hire.
- ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire.
- CPI required within 1 year of hire.
- TNCC, CEN strongly preferred.
