FacilityThis position is based on the Connecticut College campus, where providers deliver essential healthcare services to students in a supportive and collaborative academic environment. The facility is part of one of the largest non-profit, fully integrated healthcare systems in Connecticut, offering state-of-the-art clinical technology including EPIC and a robust network of provider support resources.
OpportunityAdvanced Practitioners - Other Specialties
Responsibilities- Join a dedicated team on the Connecticut College campus providing primary care and same-day care services to college‑aged students.
- Deliver acute episodic and primary care including management of chronic conditions, urgent care, sick visits, and physicals.
- Serve as the primary provider with access to support staff and other providers for consultation.
- Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial treatment plans.
- Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs including referrals to specialists and other health team members.
- Provide appropriate treatment for problems within scope of practice and refer to physicians when necessary.
- Must hold an unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License or be eligible to obtain one.
- Qualified candidates include Family Nurse Practitioners, Adult/Gerontology Nurse Practitioners, or Physician Assistants.
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a primary care or relevant outpatient setting required.
