The Clinical Coordinator Hemodialysis is responsible for directing and supervising all unit shift activities, ensuring quality patient care, and providing leadership support to nursing staff. • Assess global needs of patients and match with staff competencies.
• Delegate patient care assignments based on identified needs and abilities.
• Demonstrate appropriate clinical competencies for the nursing unit.
• Assist manager with hiring new staff and address disciplinary issues.
• Review and monitor quality improvement activities.
• Intervene to resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
• Communicate clearly and effectively to ensure staff have necessary information.
• Participate in employees’ annual review process.
• Function as a preceptor to new staff and coordinate their orientation.
• Assist nurse manager in maintaining up-to-date resource materials.

• BSN required, ADN accepted with proof of matriculation into a BSN program upon hire.

• 2 to 5 years clinical experience preferred.
• One year of charge nurse or equivalent experience preferred.

• Current CT RN Licensure.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• Certification in specialty area required.
