Enthusiastic Nursing Staffing Coordinator

Harbor Village Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, a Short-Term Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility located in a quaint location of New London is seeking an Enthusiastic Nursing Staffing Coordinator.

At Harbor Village, our residents are provided with a full range of skilled nursing and rehabilitative services to treat and support their needs in a safe and compassionate environment that fosters independence and dignity. To meet the needs of our community, our center features a rich spectrum of care that includes but not limited to Post-Acute Rehabilitation, Wound Care Management, Skilled Nursing, and Enhanced Alzheimer's and Dementia Care.

Staffing Coordinator position ensures that the facility is adequately and safely staffed with licensed Nurses, and CNAs to provide quality care to residents daily.

Staffing Coordinator Primary Requirements:

• Experience working in a long-term care facility
• Solid computer skills, including Excel, MS Office. Smartlinx experience a plus.
• Must be a self-starter with strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and organizational skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain an accurate schedule for all nursing employees.
• Post daily schedule on nursing units in a timely fashion.
• Maintain accurate records and complete necessary forms to payroll / HR as needed.
• Maintain good communication with all employees.
• Assist with the orientation of new employees as needed.
• Attend weekly labor meeting with all necessary information (current openings, reports)
• Staff according to Census
• Cover call-outs in a timely fashion.
• Maintain and update contact info for nursing staff.
