What You'll Do Diagnose, repair, and maintain a diverse fleet of heavy-duty trucks and off-road equipment.
Perform major engine repairs, in-frame overhauls, and component rebuilds.
Complete preventative maintenance services and Federal Annual (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). electrical, hydraulic, drivetrain, and aftertreatment systems.
Utilize OEM diagnostic software to accurately identify and resolve faults.
Perform occasional field service repairs at other company facilities throughout Connecticut.
Maintain accurate service documentation while adhering to all company safety standards.
Qualifications Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic working on heavy-duty trucks and diesel-powered equipment.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Experience performing major engine repairs and in-frame overhauls.
Proficiency with Cummins INSITE, Davie, Allison DOC, Roadranger, or similar OEM diagnostic software.
Experience diagnosing and repairing Cummins and PACCAR MX-13 engines.
Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and Federal Annual using computers and electronic diagnostic systems.
Valid medical card.
CDL (Class B or higher) is preferred, or willingness to obtain one through the company's paid CDL training program.
Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
Compensation$ per hour, based on experience and technical ability.
Overtime paid at 1.5x after 40 hours per week.
Annual profit sharing ranging from 7.5%17.75% of annual earnings (historically averaging approximately 15%).Discretionary year-end bonus typically ranging from $2,000 to $10,000+, based on company and individual performance.

Work Environment Approximately 6070% shop work and 3040% field service
Modern, heated 4-bay shop equipped with vehicle lifts, welding area, and advanced diagnostic equipment.
Company service truck provided for field work, with the possibility of take-home privileges depending on where the successful candidate resides.
