Work on an on-call basis to assistant the Theater Services Department in staging performances, lectures and film screenings.
General Duties and Responsibilities- Perform miscellaneous duties including stagehand, assisting with sets, lighting, sound, video, rigging, wardrobe, etc.
- Provide work direction to student workers as necessary
- Follow and enforce department standards for safety
- Technical theater experience that provides the knowledge to perform listed duties
- Weekend and night work required
- Must be able to carry 50lbs safely.
- Must be able to set up and climb ladders to at least 16 ft.
- Knowledge of carpentry, welding, rigging, electrical wiring and general duties needed to stage productions
- Ability to interact well with a variety of people from all aspects of the college and community
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized, able to work under pressure, plan and accomplish goals
Physical Demands Driving Required No Salary Range $20.48 Note
