As a Traffic Safety Protector, you will work with a team at various job sites to ensure safety and traffic control.
No prior experience or degree is required as comprehensive training is provided.
Your main responsibilities include setting up cones, signs, barricades, and traffic control equipment, guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles, and monitoring site activity.
You will follow safety protocols, communicate effectively with crew and supervisors, and help maintain clean and safe vehicles and equipment.
This outdoor role requires working in all weather conditions, standing or walking for extended periods, and possibly working nights or weekends based on job needs.
You must wear provided safety gear and bring your own steel-toe boots.
Qualifications & Skills- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to stand, walk, and work outside for long periods
- Ability to lift 40-50 pounds
- Willingness to work in traffic and changing weather conditions
- Flexible schedule & punctuality
- Ability to pass pre-hire screening, including drug test
- Alertness around moving traffic and adherence to safety rules
- Respectful attitude towards coworkers, clients, and the public
The role offers competitive pay ($19.50-$20.25/hour), overtime, and opportunities for pay increases within the first year. Paid training and traffic safety certification are provided.
