Reporting to the Director of Undergraduate Admissions, the Admissions Counselor and Athletics Liaison supports all activities related to recruiting undergraduate first-year students for Colby-Sawyer College. This results-oriented role promotes the College to prospective students, families, school counselors, and other community partners in a variety of settings, both on and off campus. A central component of the position is serving as a liaison between the Admissions Office and Athletics Department, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to support the recruitment of student-athletes.
The role requires extensive travel within an assigned geographic territory during the fall and spring semesters to visit high schools, attend college fairs, and host off-campus recruitment programs sponsored by the College. In addition, this position participates in a wide range of recruitment activities, including conducting admissions presentations, reviewing applications, and maintaining regular outreach to prospective students.

* Plan and execute recruitment travel in the assigned geographic territory during key seasons of the year, which include:
* Visiting High Schools, attending college nights and fairs, meeting with prospective students, parents, school counselors, and other community partners.
* Build and maintain positive working relationships with high school counselors and other stakeholders.
* Participate in admissions recruitment visit programs both on and off campus, such as hosting visiting families during campus tours, providing campus tours, staffing admissions early acceptance days, staffing open houses, staffing accepted students' days, and other related initiatives.
* Conduct regular outreach to prospective students based on information in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, which includes but is not limited to:
* Telephone calls, emails, text messaging, video conferencing (e.g., Zoom or Microsoft Teams)
