Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a night shift assignment in New Hampshire, requiring NH or compact RN licensure and charge experience.
Responsibilities- Work in a medical-surgical unit within a hospital setting
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM for 12 hours per shift, totaling approximately 36 hours per week
- Patient ratios up to 6:1, supported by 2 LNAs, a Nurse Lead, and a House Supervisor
- Utilizes Epic EMR system; prior experience with Epic is highly preferred
- Every other weekend and holiday shifts as needed
- No call or block scheduling available
- Local travelers are not eligible for this position
- Collaborate on care planning and implement nursing standards for individual patients
- Candidate will work as part of a supported team including LNAs, a Nurse Lead, and a House Supervisor
- Travel pairs may be considered only if able to work separate shifts
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of consideration with a maximum of 5 days; additional requests may not be approved
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Scrub/dress code and RTO policies must be strictly followed
- Active NH or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be current
- Minimum of 3 years current Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Charge nurse experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience highly preferred
- A completed skills checklist for Medical Surgical within the last year and one supervisory reference from the last two years required
- Candidate must have a personal vehicle for travel
