Travel RN - Med​/Surg

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position in New Hampshire, requiring a compact or NH RN license and recent charge experience.

Job Details

• Work in a Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting,

• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week,

• Every other weekend and holiday coverage as required,

• Patient ratios up to 6:1 with two LNAs, a Nurse Lead, and House Supervisor for support,

• No on-call or block scheduling available,

• Uses Epic EMR; prior Epic experience highly preferred,

Job Requirements

• Active New Hampshire or compact RN license in hand prior to consideration,

• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required,

• At least 3 years of recent Med/Surg experience required,

• Documented charge nurse experience required,

• Epic EMR experience highly preferred,

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred,

• Skills checklist for medical-surgical nursing current to within 1 year required,

• One supervisory reference from the past 2 years required,

• Must have personal vehicle for assignment,

• No local candidates eligible for this position,

Additional Information

• Collaborate in care planning and implement nursing standards for Med/Surg patients,

• Support is provided by additional LNAs, a Nurse Lead, and House Supervisor,

• Requested time off must be submitted with application and may not exceed 5 days,

• Orientation is provided with no billable hours,

• Holiday coverage is mandatory if scheduled,

• Travel pairs will be considered only if willing to work separate shifts,
