American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR Circulating RN for a hospital position requiring BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications along with call coverage.
Requirements- Active RN license (NH or Compact) required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum 2 years of travel RN experience in OR circulating required
- Experience in endoscopy, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, or podiatry preferred
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Operating Room setting performing circulating duties
- Patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric (ages 7-100)
- Preferred surgical specialties include endoscopy, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, and podiatry
- Responsibilities include intraoperative and postoperative/PACU care
- PACU training provided for candidates without prior PACU experience
- Schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Call required on a rotating basis, generally every third weekend and 1-2 nights per week
- 45-minute call-back window required
- Oracle/Cerner EMR experience preferred
Candidates residing within 100 miles are subject to a reduced local rate for the 50-100 mile range
