Are you looking for a fun, flexible, part-time position? Do you want to help the Muse expand? Then apply now to become the new Museum Assistant at the New London Public Museum! This new position supports the operation of the Museum. Primary responsibilities include customer service, volunteer management, and marketing.

• Provide excellent customer service, greeting and assisting guests, answering phones, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
• Assist with the growing volunteer program
• Provide coverage for the reception desk and the gift shop
• Assist with maintaining and updating the website, social media, and other marketing tools

• A proven record of excellent work attendance
• A working knowledge of computer programs and social media
• Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and communication skills
• A high School diploma or GED equivalent

We need some who is able to work a flexible schedule with an average of 14 hours per week, and a minimum of one Saturday per month and occasional evenings.
