Position: Smoke Master Operator - 3rd Shift - New London, WI
** Responsibilities:
** Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.  Comply with all LOTO, chemical, and confined spaces rules requirements.
Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements.
Additional Responsibilities:
Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.:  addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).  Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.  Ability and willingness to work adjusted shift times in emergency situations involving the Smokehouse area of the plant.
Ability and willingness to obtain town motor certifications for a stand up, sit down, and high lift tow-motor/tugger.
Ability and willingness to scan or input into the computer system, all product film, boxes, casings, clips, and ingredients for all daily product runs, including change overs.  Ability and willingness to follow formulations on the computer and accurately record and report food safety or product information.

* Physical Requirements:

** The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.  Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level minimum of 20 pounds frequently.
Ability and willingness to lift 50-pound bags several times per hour.
Ability and willingness to move 1,000 pound racks. Ability and willingness to use both hands for rapid mental muscular coordination, simultaneously.  Ability and willingness to reach high and low levels, frequently.
Ability and willingness to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently.  Ability and willingness to constantly stand/stoop/walk/bend up to 10 hours.  Ability and willingness to climb stairs.  Ability and willingness to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees.  Ability and willingness to work in temperatures of 90 degrees to 100 degrees.

Skills:

** Machine Operator experience preferred  Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred  RF Scanner experience preferred
