Accountant, Financial Reporting, Tax Accountant

This is a full-time on-site Accountant role located in Santa Teresa, NM. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial activities, including preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling accounts. Duties will also include processing accounts payable and receivable, conducting budget analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role may also involve assisting during audits, preparing tax filings, and identifying process improvement opportunities to optimize financial operations.

• Strong foundational skills in accounting principles, financial analysis, and budgeting
• Proficiency with accounting software and tools, such as Quick Books, Microsoft Excel, and ERP systems
• Highly detail-oriented with strong skills in reconciliation and financial reporting
• Effective communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements is advantageous
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus
• Previous experience in accounting or finance is preferred
