General Accounting Services Provider

Responsible for providing general accounting services to clients. Activities include cost accounting, preparation of accounting entries, cash flow management, general ledger processing, reconciliations, report generation, and tax support, among others. Ensures accuracy, integrity, and compliance with reporting standards and accounting procedures in records, financial statements, and/or financial reports. Can generate financial statements and reports for internal and/or external use.

How you will make an impact:

• Collaborate closely with the Global Process Owner GA project team, working together on GA process excellence, quality improvement, and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with Group standards and legal regulations, accounting regulations, and guidelines under local GAAP and IFRS.
• Supervise a part of the monthly closing process of financial accounting.
• Manage escalated incidents and provide support to external and internal clients.
• Generate value and have an impact through the execution of daily general accounting operations.
• Drive independent initiatives for simplification and continuous improvement, problem-solving, and support the continuous improvement of processes together with the Global Process Owner (e.g., optimization of processes and workflows, maintenance of process documentation).
• Lead the development and implementation of policies to ensure transparency and accuracy in financial reports and disclosures, as well as the efficiency of control processes.
• Work collaboratively with different financial areas and colleagues within the CSS Finance HUB, as well as with Front Office Managers, Business Line Controllers, Project Managers, and other key stakeholders.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your profile:

• University degree (bachelor's), preferably in accounting or another business area. A master's degree is a plus.
• More than 2 years of experience in General Accounting (GA) in multinational environments, with multiple legal entities.
• Experience in financial accounting is highly valued.
• Solid knowledge of internal controls and general accounting processes.
• Previous experience in macro automation (VBA).
• Advanced knowledge of English.
• Desirable work experience in BPO/CSS environments.
• Solid knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Hybrid work modality in San Luis Potosí.
