We are recruiting a Modern Apprentice to join our Human Resources Directorate, based at Carronbank House, Denny, working alongside the Operational HR Team supporting a Team of HR Managers and HR Advisers. You will also support the Deputy Director of Human Resources and the Head of Workforce Relations.
Full-time 36 hours per week
This programme is designed as a supported entry route into Administration for those with no previous knowledge or experience of working in administrative roles and we encourage applications from school leavers. The Human Resources Team supports services across the Board including the Acute Directorate, Health & Social Care Partnerships and Corporate Directorate delivering advice and guidance on a varied number of projects, work streams and services. Our focus is to deliver exceptional Human Resources support to Managers and employees, to support service improvement, and to deliver expertise to assist the operational teams to redesign and develop modern and sustainable health services.
Responsibilities- Administrative tasks which include frequent use of Microsoft Office Packages
- Data Entry in HR Database Systems and MS Excel
- General office correspondence, scanning and archiving documents
- Diary Management, scheduling Meetings and attending meetings where required
- Helping to maintain confidential employee records
- Applicants must be aged between 16 to 24 years old on September 1st, 2026 (or up to 29 years for Disabled or Care Experienced
* applicants) - Applicants must have at least two National 5 qualifications (one must be English/ESOL), and a National 4 / SCQF Level 4 in a Maths subject OR other relevant SCQF Level 5 qualifications including Foundation Apprenticeships and NPA’s. - As you will be working towards achieving a SVQ 2 (SCQF Level
5) in Business and Administration we are unable to consider candidates who have already completed this qualification Business Administration at this level or above. - In order to meet eligibility criteria for Apprenticeships applicants must be a Scottish resident with the right to live and work in the UK**

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.
As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
