Overview
UMB Personal Banking and Consumer Services offers financial solutions to customers who value individualized relationships and advisory experiences. As Branch Manager, you are the frontline leader who sets the tone for our branch team, ensuring top‑level customer service while developing associates and executing UMB’s retail strategy.
Responsibilities- Coach associates on performance, including proactive sales conversations, operational items, and customer interactions.
- Provide guidance on complex account maintenance and resolve customer escalations.
- Collaborate with internal partners such as small‑business officers, mortgage officers, and private‑wealth managers.
- Participate in continued education and training to meet sales and operational goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or comparable college education and/or business experience.
- Minimum 2 years of leadership, associate development, or management experience.
- Minimum 2 years of banking/financial services experience or a combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.
- Current NMLS registration or ability to obtain registration within 90 days.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.
$51,480.00 – $99,330.00 (actual compensation may vary by location, experience, and other factors).
