Join us at Urenco USA (UUSA) as we lead the future of clean energy. We are seeking a senior procurement professional for our facility in Eunice, NM. The role includes on‑site work with relocation support available.
Responsibilities- Support the site’s safety, people, and sustainability goals by managing the commercial aspects of acquisition across designated spend categories.
- Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and the Procurement Manager to develop and execute integrated category plans that align with UUSA and Group objectives.
- Mentor and develop other procurement contributors on technical processes and standards.
- Contribute to global category strategies and deliver long‑term sustainable value for UUSA’s external spend.
- Lead the development of medium‑to‑long‑term UUSA category plans, ensuring clarity on vision, strategy, and implementation to achieve lower costs, risk mitigation, and supply assurance.
- Implement effective and sustainable supplier management programs and contract KPIs.
- Negotiate, execute, and manage significant and complex contracts and amendments in accordance with URENCO policies.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders, business partners, and senior leaders to drive sourcing projects and category plans.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- 10 or more years of procurement/supply‑chain management experience.
- Professional certification:
Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), or Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). - Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and procurement software; SAP (or equivalent ERM) skills required; experience with Provalido preferred.
- Strong process‑control experience.
- Location:
Eunice, NM (on‑site). - Work schedule:
Professional hours with minimal night/weekend support; occasional call‑outs. - Hybrid: 2–3 days per week in office, remainder remote.
- Travel:
Up to 20% or less.
Starting salary range: $142,285 – $167,394 per year, plus performance‑based incentives.
