Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Post Position Missions
Within the QHSE department, the HSE intern assists the HSE-CSR Manager in implementing the company's safety, hygiene, environment, and CSR policy. In parallel with their training, they contribute to risk assessment, prevention action animation, and indicator follow-up, in a learning and progressive skill development framework.
They are hierarchically attached to the HSE-CSR Manager, who also serves as the learning tutor.
Internally, they work with all site functions in the context of HSE-CSR missions, providing support to staff, participating in risk awareness actions, and accompanying the HSE Manager during interventions in the context of the CSE and CSSCT.
Externally, under the supervision of the HSE-CSR Manager, they may exchange with training organizations, waste management organizations, occupational health, and occasionally with external control organizations.
Significant Activities
Description:
Support in Defining the HSE Policy:
- Participate in updating the Unique Risk Assessment Document (gathering information, proposing solutions, following up on actions)
- Contribute to the development and updating of safety documents (prevention plans, protocols, guidelines...)
- Help with the follow-up of site authorizations and training (planning, reminders, updating dashboards)
- Propose continuous improvement ideas
Support in Animating the HSE Policy:
- Participate in communicating and raising awareness among staff about health, safety, and environmental risks
- Help prepare and disseminate HSE animations and indicators (safety talks, displays, reporting...)
- Conduct inspections and field observations under supervision, and report any observed discrepancies
- Participate in organizing site visits
- Conduct initial safety welcome training for new arrivals
Support in Animating CSR:
- Contribute to raising staff awareness of CSR issues
- Help monitor the CSR action plan and its indicators
- Participate in collecting data necessary for audits, labels, and certifications (e.g., ISO 26000 standard)
- Perform regulatory and documentary monitoring in support of the HSE-CSR Manager

Responsibilities Exercised and Latitude of Action:
- Carry out assigned missions under the responsibility and control of the HSE-CSR Manager
- Alert their tutor without delay in case of a dangerous situation observed
- Respect and make others respect, at their level, the HSE-CSR group's guidelines and policy
- Regularly report on the progress of their missions
- Ensure compliance with the deadlines set for the assigned activities
SPECIFIC PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Ongoing training of type Bac +2 to Bac +5 in the QHSE field, risk prevention, or equivalent (BUT, professional license, master...)
- A first experience (internship or apprenticeship) in an industrial environment would be a plus
- Safety trainings appreciated or to be acquired during the apprenticeship:
Work Safety Rescuer (SST), awareness of risks related to work at height, to ATEX (Explosive Atmosphere) and electrical risks (H0B0...)
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Basic knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Notions of the regulations and standards in force in CSR matters
- Notions in labor legislation
- Ability to research, verify, and synthesize regulatory information
- Ability to follow a schedule and indicators
- Ability to write clear documents (guidelines, meeting minutes, communication materials...)
- Proficiency in office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
