Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Business Administration, PR / Communications
Location: Miami
You own events, content and community at Steer Suite, working directly with both founders from day one. The next big milestone: this fall, we launch Steer Suite HQ in Miami, a full week with guests from the US and Europe. The work continues after that. We are hiring exactly one person for this role.
Who we areSteer Suite makes companies AI-native. Our digital office is called Steer Suite HQ: people and AI agents work on the same tasks there. We run our own company on it, and you will work right in the middle of it. A patent application for the technical core is pending with the German Patent Office (DPMA).
Behind it are two founders:
Sakis Tabakis (Bochum, 16 years of digitalization and finance leadership experience, including at Schneider Electric and
E.ON) and Julian Rosen (Miami, 15 years at EY). They are supported by an advisory board with backgrounds at Apple, Google and Schneider Electric, as well as private equity.
- Own social media and event content end-to-end; we only set the framework.
- Operations: venues, hotels, flights, catering. Logistics, budget and invoicing run through you, nothing falls through the cracks.
- Materials: everything guests see and hold in their hands, digital and printed.
- Guests:
You keep communication moving, from invitation to follow-up. We manage the relationships with startups and investors; you make sure no request goes unanswered. - Partners:
You stay on top of coordination with our launch partners; we manage the partnerships themselves.
- Structured: lists, deadlines, follow-ups. Your system holds up even under pressure.
- Self-driven:
You do not wait for instructions and raise problems together with a proposed solution. - Language skills: business-fluent German, English at C1 level, both written and on the phone.
- Presence:
You come across confidently, including with investors and experienced founders. - Tools: AI tools are part of your everyday workflow.
Nice to have, but not required: initial event or project ownership experience (including through a university initiative), social media execution skills, or a connection to the US. You do not need years of professional experience, what matters is that you work in a structured way and deliver quickly.
What you get- Responsibility from day one, with direct access to both founders.
- Miami:
You will be on-site for the launch, and we coordinate travel, accommodation and entry requirements together in advance. - Network: investors and founders from the US and Germany, in the room with you in Miami. Connections that otherwise take years to build.
- Visibility:
The event content comes from you and will be published publicly, in front of both the German and US startup ecosystems. - Compensation:
We will share the salary range with you before the first interview. - Beyond that:
Miami is the start. We will talk about what comes next for you once the launch is behind us.
- Working student: from 20 hours/week (approx. 50%), enrolled at a university.
- Part-time or full-time: 20–40 hours/week (50–100%), for graduates and everyone else.
For both: start immediately. Remote from Germany, with occasional on-site work in Bochum/Düsseldorf; we cover any travel expenses incurred.
Requirement:
You must be able to travel to the US for launch week in the fall; we plan for the more intensive workload in advance. For working students, we coordinate hours around launch week individually, fitting your student status, clarified before the contract is signed.
