We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to support the planning, preparation, and execution of multiple utility-scale projects. In this role, you will coordinate day-to-day operations, provide leadership to electricians and apprentices, and oversee project-specific construction activities. Responsibilities include crew supervision, construction management, crew planning, project controls, engineering coordination, and both medium- and long-term planning to ensure readiness, efficiency, and quality results.
This position requires flexibility and a willingness to travel to various locations within and beyond New Mexico.

Electrical Superintendent
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and direct the work of electrician employees on a daily basis, including crew planning and workforce allocation.
- Develop and maintain six-week look-ahead schedules to support project execution and resource planning.
- Examine plan sets, specifications, and potential sites, conducting plan set reviews to identify constructability concerns and coordinate with Engineering as needed.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, and other stakeholders to resolve design issues and maintain project momentum.
- Supervise workers and field personnel in implementing the electrical plan.
- Ensure all safety measures and regulations are followed, as accident prevention and worker safety are high priorities in this potentially dangerous environment.
- Monitor work progress, track project milestones, and coordinate with the Site Superintendents, Director of Construction, and Safety to provide accurate progress tracking and reporting.
- Support project controls by monitoring schedule performance, labor productivity, and field progress.
- Coordinate Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) permits and inspections to ensure compliance with applicable codes and project requirements.
- Assist with conflict resolution among field personnel and subcontractors to maintain a productive work environment.
- General project planning prior to project commencement.
- Manage project supplies so that products arrive on time and are purchased at lowest possible cost.
- Manage site preparation and cleanup.
- Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite to manage project documentation, drawings, reporting, and communication.
Training:
- Hold mandatory training sessions on installation methodology and safety.
- Apply knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA requirements, and NFPA 70E electrical safety standards.
- Train conduit and wiring runs.
- Teach homeruns, wiring combiner box.
- Teach tool management standards.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervision of Electricians on jobsite.
- Provides coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Work Environment:
- Fast paced and ever-changing environment.
- Ability to work in extreme environments, cold, winter weather, hot sun.
- Able to work in confined spaces, and attics.
- Not afraid of heights and able to climb on top of roofs.
