Overview
Locum opportunities in hospital-based emergency medicine. Shifts are 12 hours with 3–8+ shifts per month. Annual ED volume is 14,000 patients. APP support is available 10 am – 10 pm. This assignment is in a non-trauma facility.
Responsibilities- Provide emergency medicine coverage in a hospital ED setting according to shift schedules.
- Collaborate with available Advanced Practice Providers during APP support hours.
- Navigate the credentialing and privileging process with provided assistance.
- Utilize the hospital-based resources and participate in assigned patient care activities during shifts.
- ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications required
- Hospital privileges required
- Experience in locum or temporary emergency medicine assignments is preferred
