About the Clinician's Workday

Clinicians will provide outpatient and clinic-based primary care services to adult patients (ages 18 and older) at a correctional facility in New Mexico, working 24 hours per week on a schedule of preferably three 8-hour shifts, with two 12-hour shifts considered. The expected caseload is 10 patients per day, with clinical responsibilities encompassing the evaluation and management of primary care conditions within a medium-security correctional environment.

Required credentials include an active New Mexico license, DEA registration, and BLS certification; board certification is negotiable, and prescriptive authority is required. Candidates with prior correctional experience and at least 5 years of experience as a clinician are preferred, and proficient typing skills are required for accurate clinical documentation.
