A facility in New Mexico maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support gastroenterology clinic coverage for an adult patient population. The facility operates with a support team that includes 1 MD, 2 medical assistants, 4 nurses, and 4 scrub technicians to ensure continuity of specialized care. Locum tenens gastroenterology physician associate coverage is sought beginning as soon as possible on a full-time, ongoing basis.

New Mexico offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of regional attractions, outdoor recreation, and year-round activities. The state features diverse landscapes and cultural opportunities throughout its communities. Travel access to the region is generally available through multiple transportation options across the state.

The gastroenterology physician associate will provide clinic-based GI coverage on a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at this on-site facility in NM. Clinical responsibilities include managing an average of 18-20 adult patients per day in accordance with established facility protocols. No call coverage is required for this locum tenens assignment. Board certification in Gastroenterology is required for consideration.
