Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This Special Education Teacher opportunity is based in Ranchos De Taos, NM, serving both high school and elementary students. The contract position begins ASAP and lasts through the end of the school year, offering 37.5 hours per week dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the classroom.

Qualifications and

Experience:

• Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid New Mexico Special Education teaching certification
• Strong knowledge of special education subjects and grade levels assigned
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with students, parents, and staff
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload including high school and elementary students

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction tailored to each students needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement IEPs
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Maintain accurate records and prepare required reports
