Location: El Prado

A professional opportunity is available for a Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to serve a K-12 student population. This contract position is set within an educational environment, supporting students from early elementary through high school, including several homebound learners.

Location and Schedule
  • Position located in El Prado, NM
  • Contract duration:
    August 4, 2025, to May 22, 2026
  • Part‑time schedule averaging 16 hours per week
  • Daily hours: 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Population and Caseload
  • Diverse caseload of approximately 20 students, ages 3 to 19
  • Four students with speech‑only needs
  • Work at Alta Vista Elementary/Intermediate School and Questa Junior Senior High School, including support for three homebound individuals in the local area
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive speech‑language therapy services to students with a range of communication disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on student assessments and educational goals
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and district policies
  • Support inclusion initiatives and adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse learning needs
Qualifications and Experience
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech‑Language Pathology required
  • Experience working with school‑aged children (K-12) in educational settings preferred
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
