Job DescriptionCimarron Municipal Schools is currently seeking an Educational Assistant for the Eagle Nest campus.
Level 3 Educational Assistant License
License Requirements- $50 non‑refundable fee
- Initial application via NMPED Online Licensure Portal
- Superintendent’s Verification form (must be on school district letterhead)
- Either:
- Passing score on Para Pro (457)
- Passing score on Para Educator (70% in each section)
- Passing score and completion of Core Academic Skills for Educators:
Reading, Writing, and Mathematics - Minimum of 48 semester hours of college credit with 15 in language arts, mathematics, writing, and reading/writing/math readiness or professional education
- Associates degree with the same credit distribution
- Bachelor’s or higher degree with the same credit distribution
- Register for background/fingerprints for “Teacher Licensure”
Position Type: Full‑time
Salary: $26,780 to $34,945 Per Year
