Community Schools Site Coordinator
The Community Schools Site Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of community school efforts. Facilitates the implementation and management of the development of community school activities, events, programs, and services. Is responsible for building relationships with school staff and community partners, for the purpose of engaging families and community residents, and coordinating an efficient delivery of support to students both inside and outside of the classroom.

In addition to the essential functions of this job, the incumbent must perform the following duties:
- Comply with the state-approved Code of Ethics of the Education Profession and uphold and enforce rules, administrative directives and regulations, school board policies, and local, state, and federal regulations.
- Articulate and facilitate the implementation of the mission and values of the Taos Municipal School.
- Safeguard confidentiality of privileged information.
- Prepare and maintain accurate and complete records and reports as required by law, state directives, district policy and administrative regulations.
- Share the responsibility for the supervision and care of district inventory, proper and safe use of facilities, equipment and supplies, and report safety hazards promptly.
- Maintain professional relationships and work cooperatively with employees, the community, and other professionals.
- Maintain professional competence through individual and staff training, in-service educational activities, and self-selected professional growth activities.
- Attend and/or conduct staff and/or community partner meetings and participate on committees within area of responsibility.
- Perform other tasks related to area of responsibilities as required or assigned by immediate supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA Degree
- Previous experience working with families, communities, and schools preferred.
- Flexibility, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to build partnerships and maintain working relationships.
- Basic knowledge of community school operations.
- Knowledge of the Taos community and its resources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- English/Spanish preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with diverse stakeholders.
- Basic statistical analysis.
- Basic mathematical operations.
- Ability to create and interpret graphs and reports.
