Qualifications:
- Valid New Mexico special education teaching license required
- Experience in special education within elementary, middle, or high school settings preferred

- Adaptability and creativity to meet the diverse needs of learners
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide specialized instruction tailored to each students needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom atmosphere
- Engage families in the learning process and maintain open communication
- Participate in professional development and school meetings
