We're looking for a Training Specialist to join our team in Santa Teresa, New Mexico. This is a newly created role that offers a unique opportunity to help build and strengthen learning and development programs across the organization. Reporting to the Training Manager, the Training Specialist will support the design, coordination, and delivery of training initiatives that enhance employee skills, promote operational excellence, and support business growth.

- Assess training needs and help prioritize learning initiatives across the organization
- Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop engaging training programs and materials
- Coordinate and deliver training through a variety of methods, including classroom instruction, on-the-job training (OJT), videos, and vendor-led sessions
- Support the development and execution of annual training plans
- Manage training schedules, logistics, records, and reporting
- Maintain training curricula and learning content within the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Provide support to LMS users and troubleshoot training-related questions
- Promote training opportunities and communicate schedules to employees and leaders
- Collect participant feedback and evaluate training effectiveness
- Support training documentation, system administration, and budget tracking activities
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a metal service center or manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Experience using e-learning platforms or training technologies
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field
