Key

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in School Psychology or related field
• Valid New Mexico PED School Psychologist License
• Willingness and ability to travel between district schools as needed
• Background in student assessments and evaluations, preferably within a school setting
• Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative nature, and a student-centered mindset

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and educational evaluations, managing an average caseload of 30-40 assessments
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop support strategies enhancing student achievement and wellbeing
• Provide consultation to staff on behavioral interventions, program development, and tailored student services
• Assist in compliance with state and federal regulations pertaining to student assessments and special education eligibility
• Deliver clear, thorough evaluation reports and recommended interventions to inform school teams
• Foster an inclusive environment, supporting diverse learners throughout the district
