Responsibilities – What We Expect From You:

• You will be responsible for tasks and projects in the field of product quality for paint technology and cleaners.
• You will be the global and central contact point for the areas of responsibility and will be responsible for addressing chemical and technical questions. You will also be part of the development projects.
• You will be responsible for the qualification and approval of paints and cleaners in collaboration with suppliers and departments.
• You will evaluate and conduct root cause analyses of defects directly related to paints and cleaners.
• You will work in development and after-sales projects and support the reactive process in troubleshooting and root cause analyses.
• You will be responsible for conducting wet chemical analysis of paints and examining coating materials.
• You will conduct worldwide internal training sessions on the subject area.

Qualifications – What We Are Looking For:

• Successfully completed studies in chemical engineering, chemistry, surface technology, process engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience in a chemical-technical laboratory or similar.
• Several years of experience in project management and especially in participating in development projects.
• Basic knowledge of engines and drive technology or willingness to acquire it.
• Ability to quickly understand new or ad-hoc topics, show initiative, and handle complex situations while also involving others.
• Very good analytical skills, creativity in problem-solving, and high attention to detail where necessary. Very good communication skills in speech and writing.
• Willingness to occasionally travel on business worldwide.
