Quality Manager; m​/w​/d Product Approval

Job Title

Aufgaben – Das erwartet Sie bei uns:

As a member of a specialist team for the classificatory approval of our products, you are responsible for ensuring their marketability.

In cooperation with other departments and international locations, you ensure the fulfillment of approval requirements throughout the entire product lifecycle in both serial production and project system business.

As a Quality Manager, you lead task forces and cross-departmental functional teams and are responsible for obtaining and maintaining product certificates.

You are responsible for establishing and maintaining contacts with classification societies and associations.

You initiate and coordinate type tests, oversee acceptance tests at the test bench, create project-specific test and QM plans as well as approval documentation, and enable market access for engines, components, and electronics/automation systems.

You follow international regulations with regard to approval and advise other departments on their interpretation.

You improve the compliance system through systematic identification of risks.

You evaluate new methods such as Virtual Test Bench with regard to their applicability in the approval process and help further develop and optimize the product approval.

Qualifications – What we wish for:

Successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or comparable training.

Project experience is advantageous.

Knowledge of product approval is advantageous.

Secure handling of MS-Office, knowledge of SAP.

Very good English skills.

Secure and open demeanor as well as assertiveness and negotiation skills.

Very good communication skills.
