Apache Nugget Casino is seeking friendly, dependable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Cage Cashier / Players Club Specialist. This dual‑role position is responsible for assisting guests with financial transactions, loyalty program services, and promotional activities while providing exceptional customer service in a fast‑paced casino environment.
Applicants must be 21 years of age or older to apply.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Financial Transactions- Process guest transactions, including cashing checks, exchanging currency, issuing gaming tickets, and redeeming vouchers.
- Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Follow all security procedures and compliance requirements related to monetary transactions.
- Answer guest questions regarding gaming payouts, promotions, and casino services.
- Address and resolve concerns related to financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Adhere to gaming regulations, internal controls, and casino policies.
- Enroll guests in the casino's Players Club rewards program.
- Explain membership benefits, promotions, and program guidelines.
- Assist guests with account inquiries, point balances, redemptions, account updates, and replacement cards.
- Promote casino services, events, and special offers.
- Distribute promotional materials.
- Assist with event registrations and guest participation.
- Keep guests informed about current and upcoming promotions.
- Provide outstanding guest service in a welcoming and professional manner.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest questions, concerns, or complaints.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous customer service, cashiering, hospitality, or related experience preferred.
- Casino or gaming experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn casino management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling cash and guest information.
- Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Friendly, professional, and dependable.
- Strong integrity and discretion when handling cash and confidential information.
- Flexible schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Fast‑paced casino setting with frequent guest interaction.
- Requires standing for extended periods.
- Exposure to varying noise levels and potential smoking environments.
This position provides valuable experience and opportunities for advancement into supervisory roles within the Cage Department, Marketing, Players Club, or other Guest Services areas.
Requirements- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to successfully pass all required background checks and obtain any necessary gaming licenses or permits.
