Job Summary:

Main Bank Cashier performs and records cash transactions to support casino gaming operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guests with directions or other venue information; respond to comments/complaints promptly, professionally, and friendly.

  • Take charge to respond to guest or internal customer needs when no guidance is provided.

  • Report all guest complaints and compliments to Supervisor or Manager.
  • Report all situations where resort grounds or equipment do not meet IMGR&C standards to Supervisor or Manager.
  • Put team success ahead of personal success.

  • Take action to resolve conflict between individuals.
  • Help other departments achieve success.
  • Report ideas to increase team success and guest satisfaction to Supervisor or Manager.
  • Do whatever is necessary to help department and resort succeed.

  • Responsible for internal customer transactions (department and other casino/resort departments); even money exchange, distribution of monies to appropriate persons upon completion of correct forms.
  • Maintain Cage and Main Bank accountability and related documents and safeguards for gaming chips, numerically controlled documentation and supply inventory, reconciliation.
  • Verify currency of $20.00 and higher for authenticity.
  • Ensure completion of all required forms.
  • Complete necessary paperwork to comply with federal currency transaction reporting requirements (Title 31).
  • Calculate and perform daily bank deposits.
  • Verify funds transfer from Soft Count.
  • Perform daily deposits of monies and checks to the bank.
  • Maintain redemption machines with appropriate fill levels.
  • Build and maintain cashier banks for distribution upon completion of correct forms.
