Valeo Sistemas Electricos SA de CV is seeking a highly motivated Finance Trainee to join our dynamic finance team. This entry-level position offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience across various financial functions within a global automotive supplier.

• Assist with the preparation of financial reports, statements, and presentations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities, including data collection and analysis.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and potential risks or opportunities.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and support business operations.
• Assist in internal control activities and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Contribute to special projects and ad-hoc assignments as needed by the finance department.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A strong desire to learn and develop a career in finance.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
